Gigi the Dog needs a home
My name is Gigi and I am a sweet terrier/chihuahua mix. I am a little older around 6-7, but am still spunky, happy and love to play, chasing small tennis balls and squeaky toys. After play time I am a complete cuddle bug and love to hang on the couch with my foster mom and dad while they watch TV. I do have to say I get a little nervous when I first meet new people, but I warm up easily and then my real personality shines. I love to go on walks and do not pull on the leash. Though I would rather not be in a crate for long periods of time, I have never had an accident in my crate, even up to 6 hours. My foster mom only puts me in there when she has to leave the house and she leaves plenty of toys to keep me busy when she is gone. I would not call myself a big chewer, though I sometimes do chew, so my foster mom makes sure I always have chew toys just in case and I really like them. I am working on potty training. I know to go outside, but I do need consistent trips outside and encouragement. My foster mom agrees that I am about 60% there. She says I am smart too so I will eventually get to 100%. I am great with other dogs and love to play, but I love my humans even more, so if you don't have other dogs that is okay with me too. I am spayed, microchipped up-to-date on vaccinations, currently on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and have been dewormed. My adoption fee is $225.
